Foremost entrepreneur and Board of
Trustees member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Rommy
Ezeonwuka has stated that despite the crises that has rocked APGA in the past
few years, he stands by the Rule of Law.
Ezeonwuka, who is the Ogilisi Igbo stated this, in an
appeal to all members of the party leadership, irrespective of faction when he
called on them to come together as one family and build up the troubled
political party.
He argued that APGA had stood the test of time in
terms of quality leadership, especially in Anambra State, having built a strong
legacy of good governance from the days of Mr Peter Obi to Chief Willy Obiano,
and now, in the government of Prof Charles Soludo.
His words “The leadership crises in APGA has become a
source of worry to myself and other members of the Board of Trustees. But no
matter what happens, we are speaking as the fathers of the party, that the Rule
of Law is always the final determinant in any situation. For this reason, I
stand by the rule of law and whoever is decided by court to be the winner is
the National Chairman of our great party. My concern as a father is unity in
APGA and following decisions of the court of Law, whatever the courts decide,
let that bring in unification in the party.
“It is also pertinent to note that we must be mindful
of the interests of our people, which our great party stands for, and ensure
that these interests prevail over our personal pursuits in the party. That is
why I am strongly appealing that every member of the party, no matter your
faction, should unite and let’s build our party. APGA should have taken over
the whole South East Nigeria by now, but it’s not too late.
“The great works Gov Soludo is doing in Anambra State
is worth emulatable in other states. See the quality of dual carriageways and
other things and you will know that our party is still number one, from Peter
Obi to Willy Obiano and now, Soludo.
“Elections are coming up in 2025. Are we going to keep
fighting until we lose everything?
“What APGA has done in Anambra is why Ndi Anambra
should support that peace reign in the party. Now, the rule of law must
prevail, therefore, I am calling every Igbo man and woman not to truncate the
APGA movement in Anambra State. Apart from what Peter Obi did, or what Obiano
did, this is the first time APGA is bringing dualised roads to Anambra State.
All these are the things that purchase the heart, the old, the new, the spirit.
“I have said it, that APGA is a deity and when a deity
is at work, it can touch those things that matter in legacy projects. Peter Obi
had what is called legacy projects in Anambra State. The stamp is there – APGA.
Obiano had legacy projects, the stamp is there, when you talk about the
airport. Now, Solution is coming up with dualised road from Amawbia to Imo
State, towards Ekwulobia, to Uga, to Akokwa, plus the transformation of
Ekwulobia with flyover.
“He is dualising Agulu to Nnobi, to Nnewi, dualising
Ekwulobia, Ozubulu, Okija. Also, the Government Village that is nearing
completion, and the transformation of Okpoko are other legacy projects. Do not
let anybody truncate APGA. The parallel lines should return let’s have unity,
as it would be difficult for any party to defeat APGA in Anambra State. These
are pure legacy projects that APGA leadership is bringing.
“I, as a supreme BOT member of APGA, and spiritual
leader encourages those trying to bring in other parties to Anambra to hold it
until the Solution concludes his eight year tenure. This is my stand. There is
no Victor, no Vanquished.
APGA has what it takes to further its legacy projects.
I also say that the issue of insecurity in Anambra, which is a very big
challenge in Igbo land is an area that can be revisited. As a spiritual leader,
I say that what cannot be sorted out in the physical can be sorted out in the
spiritual realm. We have to appease the land, and atone for the sins we have
taken as uchu. The souls of millions of people that are trapped in mortuaries
are crying and their spirits are tormenting people through possessing them and
turning them to zombies.
“So, just as the APGA government conducted a funeral
for Biafra heroes, I expect APGA government to enact a law to evacuate
and mass-bury thousands of corpses that litter various Anambra mortuaries. In
doing so, the wandering, unsettled spirits of the unburied dead bodies that
possesses our youths into drug addiction, cultism, unknown gunmen,
idleness, restiviness, living in forests, kidnappings etc shall disappear and
Angels who deserted Igbo land because of littered dead bodies shall return and
help secure our states”, Ezeonwuka concluded.
