*SLIDING* *TACKLES*
In the Developed Countries, One doesn't see the situation where a Present Government is remote-controlled by a Past Government. In America which is the Undisputed "Model of Democratic Governance"; we have not seen any Past American President having a Control on the Policy Direction of a Current One. The Developed Nations abhor such a situation that foists a Past Government on a Present Government with such an unwieldy lnfluence that Relegates a Present Government to a "Puppet" of a Past Government. The Developed Countries do not tolerate such situations because they are unhealthy for the General Development of both their Nations and the Welfare of their People. Infact, the Developed Countries view any lnterference in the Conduct of the Administration of their Country by a Past Government; as a Criminal Attempt to hide and cover some Criminal Secrets from the Nation.
So far, this Policy of giving a Present Government the unfettered Authority to Decide and Determine it's Programmes and Agenda of the Developed Nations, is Working perfectly Well for them and the Welfare of their People. So, in the Developed Countries, Present Governments are undiluted space to Govern the Nation as they deem most fit for best interest of their people. And Past Governments or Presidents, take a due bow and go for the Record of their Performance while in Officed to be analysed and assessed by the People.
But sadly in Nigeria, our Greedy and Selfish Past Presidents and Governors will do everything possible to enthrone a Successor Government inorder to hold an unweildy lnfluence and Control on the Present Government which they installed. And any attempt by those Present Governments to resist the remote-control from the Past Governments; usually ends in a Bitter ferocious Supremacy Battle that the entire Nation bears the brunt of. We see this highly Unpatriotic and Criminal Moves by some Desperate Past Administrations to control the proceedings of a Present Administration, every time in Nigeria even though we are happy that a lot of Present Governments have not taken the rubbish from the Past Governments.
However, in Nigeria Football, we are presently witnessing an Open Ugly Situation where from all body languages and actions; the Present NFF Board led by lbrahim Gusau is clearly an "Unadulterated Clone" of the immediate Past NFF President, Amaju Pinnick whose Past NFF Board, is so much villified and ladened with several Corruption Petitions and Allegations. Yes! Apart from the Well and Widely known Fact that about 80 percent of the Members of the Present (Gusau) led NFF Board (including Gusau himself); were"Active Board Members) of the "Uneventful" Pinnick NFF Board? The entire Policies and Mode of Reaction to serious National Football matters which is "Slow Motion" and "Carefree"; are present in both the Present lbrahim Gusau NFF Board and the Pinnick NFF Board. So, the entire "Dance Moves" of the Gusau NFF Board show that they are just an "Unadulterated Version" of the much villified Pinnick who wasted 8 Solid years of our Football with No Single Achievement to his credit, only Allegations of massive Looting of our scarce Football Funds.
But, this New Situation of a Past NFF President, Pinnick, controlling the Decisions and Policies of the Present lbrahim Gusau led NFF Board; is indeed Quite Strange and Foreign to our Football Administration as the Situation has never happened before until non Achieving Pinnick started it and even doing it with a highly Disrespectful Arrogance; which is the Main Reason why *SLIDING* *TACKLES* is taking it's time to Torchlight and Expose the highly Destructive Situation to Nigerians. Because, why is Pinnick still Present in the NFF and making bold assertive Declarations and Orders which lbrahim Gusau and his NFF Board and implementing hook, line and stinker when Pinnick has finished a Record setting highly uneventful and grossly under achieving 2 Terms of Office; wasting a Whopping 8 years for Nigeria Football lndustry?
Because, for instance, the Brig. Dominic Oneya led then NFA Board never came close to it's Successor, the lbrahim Galadima NFA Board all through the Galadima NFA Board's tenure. Also, the Galadima NFA Board was never close or tried to control the proceedings of it's Successor, the Sani Lulu NFF Board. And the Sani Lulu NFF Board kept a far Distance from the Aminu Maigari NFF Board which took over from it. Of course, the Maigari NFF Board never surfaced to meddle into how Pinnick ran his own ugly show as NFF President.
So, the Major Objective of this Article is to Alert Nigerian Football Stakeholders and the Nigerian People of this unpalatable situation which like the Developed Nations have taught us; that anytime any Past President goes to control a Present One; there's a Huge Crime intended to be covered against the interest of the Nation and it's People. Because, there's no germane reasons why Pinnick who is the Most Hated NFF President of All Times in the History of Nigerian Football; can't go and rest while awaiting his eventual Probe of his Management of our Football and it's Resources, which must come on One Good Day and soonest. Yes! The very Tight Stranglehold Control and lnfluence of Pinnick on the Gusau NFF Board; is indeed quite very suspicious and leaves so much to be Desired and Nigerians should honestly be very concerned about this unwarranted ugly situation.
Let's look at the following 12 REASONS WHY GUSAU NFF BOARD IS AN "UNADULTERATED CLONE" OF PINNICK.
*ONE* : Pinnick's bold Declaration and Order that Former Super Eagles Coach, Jose Peseiro must be retained as the Super Eagles Coach or another Foreign Coach be Appointed as his Replacement which the Gusau NFF Board almost implemented if not for the overwhelming Stand of Nigerians that they don't want Foreign Coach for the Super Eagles. *TWO* : Pinnick's bold Declaration and Order that the Present Newly Appointed Coach of the Super Eagles must be Appointed the Super Eagles Coach ahead of clearly Better Qualified lndigenious Coaches including a FIFA World Cup Winner; which the Gusau NFF Board, carried.
*THREE* : Pinnick's bold Declaration and Order that the New Super Eagles Coach, Finidi George must Appoint Foreign based Assistant Coaches even when Pinnick knew the Poverty situation of the Gusau NFF Board which he (Pinnick) left behind; which the Gusau NFF Board has now implemented wholesale. *FOUR* : Pinnick's insistence that the Home based Players must continue to be Sidelined from their own Super Eagles in preference for Wholesale Foreign based Players which was the nefarious Unpatriotic Policy, Pinnick instituted in Nigeria Football and which Gusau NFF Board as a "Puppet" has dutifully implemented.
*FIVE* : Pinnick's Policy during his NFF Board's tenure that our National Teams (both Men and Women) must be Camped for Preparations for Major lnternational Competitions; in Foreign Countries despite knowing the hard economic situation of our dear Nation; which the Gusau NFF Board is sheepishly following to the later. *SIX* : The Almost Wholesale Retention of Pinnick's Appointed Committee Members in the Present lbrahim Gusau NFF Board and the Continuation of exactly the same Delegation of Persons to lnternational Engagements to collect Estacodes on our hard pressed National Resources
*SEVEN* : The highly Unethical and Unprofessional cosy "Unholy Alliance" currently being practiced by the Gusau NFF Board which is a "Weapon of Mass Destruction" for our Football; which was initiated by Pinnick. *EIGHT* : The Arrogant and highly Disrespectful Disposition to the Nation and Nigerian People which came to the Fore under Pinnick NFF Board and which has been copied verbatim by the clueless hapless Gusau NFF Board and especially brazenly exhibited in the Rejection of Nigeria's clear Choice for Super Eagles Coach (Coach Emmanuel Amunike) in favour of Pinnick's "Annointed Choice", Coach Finidi George.
*NINE* : The Total Neglect of National Teams Coaches and Players and their Camping Preparations which was the ignoble Hallmark of the Pinnick NFF Board; but which is being continued under a Visionless Gusau NFF Board which has already caused the Nation an lnternational Embarrassment with the U20 Flying Eagles Disgraceful Crash at the All African Games with just 2 Weeks of Camping Preparations and the Avoidable Ouster of the U17 Golden Eaglets from the FIFA World Cup U17 Championships due to only 3 Weeks of Camping Preparations.
*TEN* : The Total Neglect and Abandonment of the Nigerian Football Grassroots Sector and the Leagues Football Sector especially the Women Football Sector which was One sore area that made Nigerians to Hate Pinnick who did not Develop a Single lnfrastructure or Facility throughout his Wasteful 8 years Tenure; but which is exactly the same Line being toed by the Gusau NFF Board without any Repentance. *ELEVEN* : The horrible Penchant of the Pinnick's NFF Board to owe our National Teams Coaches at All Levels without batting an eyelid or conscience; which sadly has been continuef by the Gusau NFF Board who we hear is already owing the Coach of our Senior National Women Football Team (Super Falcons), Coach Ralph Waldrum a Whopping 7 Months Salary Arrears just like Pinnick owed the Past Super Eagles Coach, Jose Peseiro.
*TWELVE* : The Lack of a Visionary Robust Agenda, Laziness, Wastefulness and Lack of lntegrity which were the hallmarks of Pinnick but which also are the Hallmarks of the Gusau NFF Board as exhibited by Gusau's continuation of All the Wasteful Policies of Pinnick especially.
So, from the above Findings and Observations, it's obviously very clear that the Present lbrahim Gusau NFF Board is nothing but an "Unadulterated Clone" of "Uneventful" Pinnick which Nigerians should know as an........
