Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija
housemate, Tega Dominic, has denied allegations that she had an extramarital
affair with popular media personality, Frank Edoho.
The denial comes after Frank’s estranged wife, Sandra,
released a public statement accusing Tega and some other women of being
romantically involved with him during their marriage.
Reacting through her social media pages, Tega
dismissed the allegation, insisting that she has never had any emotional or
sexual relationship with Frank.
She described Frank as a good friend, adding that
their relationship was never inappropriate. According to her, they began
communicating around the middle of last year after Frank sent birthday wishes
to her mother.
Tega also stated that the only time she met Frank in
person, her manager, Paul Ukonu, was present.
The reality star demanded that anyone making the
allegation should provide evidence, warning that she would not allow her name
and reputation to be damaged by what she described as a false narrative.
“It is important for evidence to be provided because I
will not let this slide,” she said.
Tega further revealed that she has instructed her
lawyers to take over the matter, adding that there would be consequences for
those spreading the claims.
In her statement, she said she initially did not want
to respond because she had tried to stay away from unnecessary drama, but
decided to speak out because her silence was no longer helping.
“I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship
with Frank Edoho,” she stated.
She added that both she and Frank were separated at
the time they became friends, and maintained that if there had been anything
romantic between them, she would have admitted it openly.
Tega said she has worked hard to build her name and
brand and would not allow false accusations to ruin her reputation.
She also said she owed it to her family, friends,
supporters, and the brands she works with to protect her image.
“This has honestly been very upsetting for me, but
moving forward, my lawyers will handle the matter appropriately. There will be
consequences. This will be the only time I address this matter,” she added.
