In his words: “I think a country of over 200 Million should produce more talents than a country of over 5 million if the materials at the disposal are well utilized. One of the ways to achieve this was when Kabiyesi in the traditional council were discussing it and this issue came up, I see it as opportunity to make Oyo state thick in terms of youth development. Anything that will make Oyo state number one in terms of youth development, I think I buy into it”. He enthusiastically submitted.
“To the
organisers, I believe this competition should be free and fair. Give all the
teams across the length and breadth of Oyo State a level playing ground and if
Ilaji FC did not come with any medal, Coach Zico, please take it in good
faith.”
“I wish to
encourage us here that we should use this league to showcase the best materials
we have in Oyo state. I can announce to you now that I have bought a club in
Czech Republic and talents spotted here will have a smooth jolly traveling
experience to Europe.”
