The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME), revealing that a significant majority of candidates scored below the
200 mark.
Key Statistics:
JAMB has indicated that candidates facing biometric
verification issues are under review, and those cleared will be rescheduled for
the examination. Additionally, results for blind candidates and others in the
JEOG category are still being processed. A press briefing is expected later
this week to inform candidates on how to officially access their results.
These statistics highlight the challenges faced in the
education sector and underscore the need for concerted efforts to improve
