Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has postponed a decision on the bail application filed by social media personality and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.

The court fixed Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for its ruling after hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defence.

Blessing CEO is currently facing a two-count charge brought against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 1. The charges involve allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing, with the sum in question amounting to N36 million.

According to the EFCC, the defendant allegedly obtained the money from a petitioner under the pretext of securing a property lease in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

She was formally arraigned before the court on May 15, 2026, where the charges were read to her.

At the resumed hearing on Friday, the court entertained submissions from both parties regarding her request for bail. Following the arguments, Justice Dipeolu announced that a ruling on the application would be delivered on June 9.

The case is expected to continue after the court determines whether the defendant will be granted bail pending the trial.

Blessing CEO remains one of Nigeria’s most prominent social media influencers, known for her relationship advice and commentary on social issues. The outcome of the bail application is being closely watched as legal proceedings continue.
