The Government of Cross River State, through the office of the Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Agnes Atsu, today, held the draws for 2024 Governor’s Cup Tournament in the State.
The draws which was held at the UJ Esuene International Stadium, Calabar, had in attendance, the Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Agnes Atsu, SA on Sport, Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong, SSA on Sport, Mr. Lawrence Etta, the Football Association (FA) Chairman, Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, was represented by the FA Vice Chairman one, Mr. Greg Abang, FA Secretary, Mr. Talabi Oke, Mr. Tony Ugah, Secretary, Cross River State Referees Council, members of the Football Association, Clubs Chairmen, coaches, lovers of sports and gentlemen of the press.
The theme of the tournament reads: Building Grassroot Talents For Youth Empowerment.
