Delta Police Arrest Suspected Female Drug Baron, Recover Codeine And “Loud” In Warri Raid

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old suspected female drug baron alongside two alleged accomplices during a covert operation in the Ogbomoro and Ugolo communities of Warri metropolis.

Confirming the development, police spokesperson Bright Edafe said operatives attached to the Area Command in Effurun carried out the raid on May 7, 2026, at about 9 p.m.

The operation led to the arrest of the prime suspect, Favor Isaac, as well as two other women identified as Favour Felix, 24, and Samson Precious, 19.

According to Edafe, police officers executed a search warrant at the suspects’ hideout located along River Road in the Ogbomoro community, where several suspected illicit substances were recovered.

Items seized during the operation included 21 bottles of CSC Codeine, two canisters containing Nitrous Oxide — commonly known as “laughing gas” — two packs of suspected psychoactive chewing gum branded “Highness Gum,” and approximately 640 grams of substances suspected to be Canadian Loud concealed in various bags and containers.

Police said preliminary investigations revealed that a suspect identified as Rukewe Tega Isaac, who is currently on the run, is believed to be the major supplier connected to the drug network.

The command added that efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspect and dismantle other members of the alleged syndicate.
