DELTA STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION ENDORSES 2024 DELTA PRESEASON CUP

The Delta State Football Association (DSFA) has officially thrown its weight behind the 2024 Delta Preseason Cup, scheduled to kick off on November 14th, 2024.

The association, led by its Chairman, Hon. Godwin Adode (aka Coach Tete), expressed its unwavering support for the tournament, citing its importance in preparing teams for the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

“The DSFA is committed to developing football in Delta State, and the Delta Preseason Cup aligns with our vision,” said Hon. Godwin Adode. “We believe this tournament will provide valuable opportunities for our teams to fine-tune their strategies and prepare for the new season.”

Organized by Coach Onome James Ikrechero, Chairman of Ughelli North Football Council and CEO of Excellent Football Academy, the 2024 Delta Preseason Cup promises to deliver exciting football, with top NNL and NLO 1 teams competing for the coveted trophy.

• Tournament dates: November 14th -17th, 2024
• Participating teams: NNL and select NLO 1 teams
• Prize money: Winner (#400,000), Runner-up (#300,000)
• Trophy: Winner keeps the trophy
