The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) this afternoon endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the September 21, 2024 governorship election in Edo State.
The leader of the delegation, Mr. Lucky Emonofe National President of NANS, while speaking at the event, informed the marmont crowd that after careful consideration of the candidates from various political parties, the association, representing over 40 million Nigerian students, has decided to endorse distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo as the association consensus governorship candidates.

Emonofe commended the candidate for his significant contributions to the education sector, particularly through the construction of schools and the provision of scholarship programs.
He expressed the belief that the NANS endorsement will help to propel the APC candidate to victory, as the students have recognized his commitment to improving the education of Nigerians, especially in the state.
