The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Olumide Adebiyi Adediran, a 56-year-old Nigerian man wanted for multiple fraud-related crimes in the United States.

Adediran faces charges of bank fraud, identity theft, and credit card fraud tied to criminal activities in Illinois as far back as 2001. Authorities say he allegedly attempted to cash fraudulent checks and used stolen identities of U.S. citizens to open bank accounts.

The fugitive fled the Central District of Illinois in December 2001, just before his federal trial was scheduled to begin. A federal arrest warrant was issued on January 2, 2002, after he violated his release conditions.

The FBI noted that Adediran has connections to South Florida and remains on its wanted list. He is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators revealed he also uses several aliases, including:

  • Kevin Olumide Adediran
  • Eric O. Williams
  • Maxo Alexandre
  • Olumide Adkins
  • Edward N. Anderson

The FBI is urging anyone with credible information about his whereabouts to contact its offices or the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
