THE President of the Senate,  Senator Godswill Akpabio has envisaged a situation where he would like to have more younger people in the Church than the older ones  in order to have a secure future for the Church.

I pray the Lord keeps all of us to continue winning more souls into the Catholic fold. Akpabio  who emphasized on  the importance of nurturing the next generation as well as ensure that  they are actively involved in the church’s mission, however acknowledged the blessings bestowed upon the Diocese over the past 60 years, just as he highlighted  specifically, his rise as an ambassador, who became the governor of the state, leading to significant transformations in Ikot Ekpene, including the creation of essential roads and now the number three citizen of Nigeria.
