The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association,
Gen Chikelue Iloenyosi has sent words of felicitations to the NFF President,
Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau on the success of his election as the 1st Vice
President of West African Football Union (WAFU B).
According to Iloenyosi, this is a deserved position as
Gusua has shown his capacity in championing football development at the
grassroots in the country.
"I want to congratulate my Boss, Alhaji Gusau as
he is elected as the first Vice President of WAFU B. This is a testament to how
his personality and the good work he has been doing in the Nigerian Football
Federation has given him recognition in regional Africa. I strongly believe
with Gusua there that WAFU B football will grow in leaps and bounds. I wish him
luck in this new position."
The election took place in Niamey, Niger Republic. The
WAFU B zone is made up of seven countries, viz Nigeria, Togo, Benin Republic,
Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Cote d'Ivoire.
