Head Coach Augustine
Eguavoen says he is anticipating a tough battle when Super Eagles confront
Libya on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Super Eagles will
host the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on
Friday, 11th October in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Speaking ahead of the
encounter, the Super Eagles gaffer said his boys are ready while expressing
confidence in the ability of the players to deliver.
"They are down
now, but that doesn't mean they can't rise. They have couple of games to play.
They will come here and fight but we will try and forget about the past games.
Our focus is the game in front of us and the boys are ready.
"We will give
Libya a tough fight for those three points. Every second counts and we know
what it means to get the job done quickly. With the boys that we have and the
spirit and nobody is injured, they will deliver."
