As part of the players union's ongoing efforts to intensify the engagement of players through the Clubs Union Units structures, the Players board has approved the appointment of State Adminstrative Secretaries and Assistants to help mobilize and integrate all Nigeria professional football players in their various states into the fold of the Union
The concept of the Union Players Board composed of a large number of clubs captains from the leagues was strategically conceived to put the players at the heart of the Union activities and get them more involved in decision making process
The appointments which is ongoing has so far engaged more than twenty States Adminstrative Secretaries and assistants which includes the following football personalities and former players, Peter Nieketien and Kevin Etemike, Adm sec and Assistant - Lagos State., Morris Silas and Obot Boniface Udoka, Adm sec and assistant - Akwa ibom state, Lawal Waheed Adeoye, Adm sec - Ogun state.
