A Nigerian woman, Nihinlolawa Agoro, and two of her
children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, have died following a fatal road accident in
the United States, while several others sustained serious injuries.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office,
the crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, along US-90A
between Harlem Road and Pitts Road in Texas.
Authorities said the incident involved an SUV carrying
five ??????? and a truck traveling in the opposite direction. The truck
reportedly crossed the median, lost control, and collided head-on with the SUV.
Following the impact, the truck overturned and caught
fire, worsening the severity of the crash.
Officials confirmed that three occupants of the SUV —
an 18-year-old, a 22-year-old, and a 44-year-old woman — were pronounced dead
at the scene.
The 20-year-old truck driver and two children from the
SUV, aged 4 and 14, were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are currently working to determine the
cause of the crash, including whether alcohol played a role in the incident.
The sheriff’s office also indicated that the victims
were likely on their way to church at the time of the accident, based on their
attire.
The tragic incident was further confirmed by a family
member, Lola Oni, in a post on social media.
