A Nigerian woman, Nihinlolawa Agoro, and two of her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, have died following a fatal road accident in the United States, while several others sustained serious injuries.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, along US-90A between Harlem Road and Pitts Road in Texas.

Authorities said the incident involved an SUV carrying five ??????? and a truck traveling in the opposite direction. The truck reportedly crossed the median, lost control, and collided head-on with the SUV.

Following the impact, the truck overturned and caught fire, worsening the severity of the crash.

Officials confirmed that three occupants of the SUV — an 18-year-old, a 22-year-old, and a 44-year-old woman — were pronounced dead at the scene.

The 20-year-old truck driver and two children from the SUV, aged 4 and 14, were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the crash, including whether alcohol played a role in the incident.

The sheriff’s office also indicated that the victims were likely on their way to church at the time of the accident, based on their attire.

The tragic incident was further confirmed by a family member, Lola Oni, in a post on social media.
