has proposed the following Football administrators, technocrats and ex
players as potential members of its Advisory board

FUNCTIONS OF THE BOARD
The players' union advisory board shall play the roles
and responsibilities of advising the players board and operational board on the
following areas such as
Advocacy and Representation The advisory board through
the players board will serves as a voice for the players, advocating for their
rights, interests, and needs within the
league. These includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements, addressing grievances, and
ensuring fair treatment and working conditions.
Policy Development: The board through the players
board may help in formulating policies regarding player health and safety,
contract negotiations, benefits, and pension plans. They can play a crucial
role in setting standards that protect players’ welfare.
Education and Awareness: The board can provide
resources and education regarding players' rights, financial literacy, career
development, and mental health resources. They may offer workshops, seminars,
and training to help players make informed decisions.
Conflict Resolution: The advisory board may function
as a mediator in disputes between players and management or among players
themselves, offering guidance and support in resolving conflicts.
Strategic Planning: The board may be involved in
outlining long-term strategies for the players' union, including membership
engagement, outreach, and relationship building with stakeholders in the sport.
6. Collective Bargaining Support: While the main
negotiations may be led by union representatives, the advisory board can
provide input and expertise during collective bargaining processes, ensuring
that players’ perspectives are included.
