Some years ago when Akpabio was Governor of Akwa Ibom State,
he had an intrinsic penchant of turning boys to men, girls to ladies and
children to potential assets through free Education.
But despite all his galvanized efforts to elevate
down-throden human species from grass to grace, so many beneficiaries turned
around to backbite, blackmail, insult and castigate him in multiple unsavoury
ways, especially in the 2019 Senatorial election which he "failed,"
courtesy of his beneficiaries, whom he turned from boys to men during and after
he became the 9th Governor of Akwa Ibom State between 2007-2015.
But like the Biblical sayings that there's time for
everything,that God's time is the best,that a man shall in due season reap
whatsoever he sows,then, for sure this
is the time that God had deliberately ordained Senator Godswill Akpabio as the
greatest political juggernaut ever to emerge from the South South Zone of
Nigeria to revolutionalise, excite and sanitise the Nigerian political
landscape with so much fanfare, enthusiasm and enigmatic street love for the
benefit of all and sundry, irrespective of tribe and tongue tongue.
This is the due season for Distinguished (Dr) Senator
Godswill Obot Akpabio to be blessed with flowing rivers of Thanksgiving and
gratitude from those he cause divine visitation in their lives. Hon Patrick
Umoh, who rode on the hurricane winds of Akpabio's "Utomidung's landslide
victory to power as member representing Ikot Ekpene, Essien Udim, Obot Akara
Federal Constituency, did his thanksgiving service at Catholic Cathedral,
Ifuho, Ikot Ekpene, which also honoured and paid homage to his MENTOR.
Still on that same vain of tantalising respectfulness,
recognition and honour, Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, marvelous Minister of
Petroleum Resources (Gas) (who had thought Akpabio's recommendation of him to
be a minister was a carnival capital Joke) also held a Thanksgiving mass at
ABAK, to honour God who created Akpabio for the people of Akwa Ibom State and
NIGERIA as a whole.
Like Akpabio himself used to say "you ain't seen
anything yet",let us keep our fingers crossed for more thanks-giving
services and gestures of appreciation of the Senate President's benevolence and
human development gestures shall soon be rife in every nook and cranny of
Nigeria as many more juicy and mouth watering appointments, hiemployments and
empowerments are brewing in the brewery of dividends of democracy for his good
people.
He has given over 700 appointments to people who are not
even Akwa Ibom State not to talk of those outside his Senatorial District, so
therefore one can only imagine the magnitude and extent of THANKSGIVING SERVICES
AND PROGRAMMES, including my own, that the Senate President shall have to
attend at the end of his first four years, when the hullybully is done.
*May God Almighty continue to bless protect and honour Our
legendary Obong, Dr. Distinguished SENATE PRESIDENT GODSHIP OBOT AKPABIO CON,
CGMSP now and forever more, Amen!," he concluded.
