In a thrilling rematch of last edition’s final,
Excellent Football Academy (FA) and Worshippers FC clashed in Group B’s second
matchday, ending in a 0-0 stalemate.
The highly contested encounter showcased end-to-end
action, delighting fans in attendance. Excellent FA’s Ogahenekome Godswill and
Captain Jonathan Omoniwhofa impressed, but their efforts, along with their
teammates’, failed to yield a goal.
The draw leaves both teams with 4 points each after
two matches, with Worshippers FC topping the group by virtue of goal
difference.
In the other group B encounter, Ine Stars FC defeated
Delight football academy 3-1.
There were also big wins for Light FC and Flight FC.
