Death they say is a price for us to pay
and that of the late COAS was not difference as he bows out from service
attaining the highest ranking position as a lieutenant General and in records
as the former Chief of Army Staff with outstanding records of service with
successes in his primary assignments as a successful leader to be remembered
with significant milestones he achieved during his meritorious service.
Though his death has been with
controversies in the electronic and print media with speculations of all sort
and the deniers from his constituencies which has left the public space to
investigate the actual true stories if the death of this very important
brilliant officers was real when no person has monopoly to life.
The Army confirmed that the former Chief
of Army Staff had been flown out of the country to seek medical attention, and
denied his absence had created a vacuum.
Though his death was eventually confirmed
by the Nigeria army authorities but up till now the coast was not clear on the
health status of this officer that was known for his field actions allowing the
usual speculations around the untimely death of the previous chief of the army
staff in a controversial air crash which coursed the controversies as a result
of the tragedy of burying the number of brilliant officers that where killed in
Kaduna with the mass burial which has left their immediate families, loved once
and colleagues in tears at the Nigeria armed forces cemetery along the airport
roan in Abuja.
The ultimately death within the military
circle the Nigeria army in particular has drawn a lot of speculations if it was
destined to be so that has placed the nation into a sad mood with various kind
of suspicion to any reason why claims and counter claims not to see it as it
was destined without any form of human angle to death.
With the substantive appointment made by
Mr President commander in chief of the armed forces federal republic of Nigeria
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR we pray that the immediate family will be
consoled in the impact made by the late General in the course of his
meritorious service and believing that death remain inevitable in a life time
that God in his infinite mercy grant the late General a place in his bosom.
