Vinicius is happy. After being voted best player in January, the forward said he is "very happy" with how he has returned from injury. "To be able to help is a tremendous joy. We have to continue like this to win great things," he said.
Vinicius Junior received the award for the Best Footballer of the Month for January in Spain on Friday, in a recognition after which he said he was "very happy with everything" he is doing after recovering from the muscle injury he suffered in November and returning to the pitch in the first month of 2024.
"I'm very happy with everything I'm doing after the injury. To come back well and help my teammates is a tremendous joy. We're in good shape and we have to keep going like this until the end of the season to win great things," he said in statements on Real Madrid's website.
"I want to thank you for all the love and I hope we can continue to win a lot of things," he added.
Vinicius suffered a muscle tear on 17th November with Brazil and, in January, scored five goals, including three against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final, in the six games he played.
