Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has said the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, remains his principal regardless of the recent political crisis that rocked the state.
Fubara described the feud between him and Wike as a thing of the past, stressing that he never recruited anybody to malign any person.
The governor, speaking in Port Harcourt at the opening of 2023/2024 legal year rededication service at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Hospital Road, said he still recognises Wike as his boss.
Rivers was in crisis between October 29 and 30, 2023, when Wike, through the House of Assembly, reportedly attempted to impeach Fubara over alleged failure to comply with his demands.
