Chidera Ifeanyi Ubah, the daughter of late Senator Dr.
Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, shared a heartfelt tribute to her father during a recent
memorial event held in his honor. In a video that was shared by
SYMFONI TV from 0.54, in her message , she reflected on their unique bond
and the precious memories they created together.
“Daddy,” as she fondly called him, was more than just
a public figure to her. He was her hero, her confidant, and the source of her
strength. Chidera spoke about the special connection they had, one that she
believes cannot be replaced.
“You used to start our calls with silence,” she
recalled, explaining how her father would pause before breaking into praises.
“You’d say, ‘Ada Ifeanyi Ubah, my only daughter, my darling daughter.’” Those
words, filled with love and pride, made her feel cherished and inseparable from
him.
Chidera described the pain of losing her father as
unimaginable. Instead of creating new memories together, she now finds herself
scrolling through old photos and listening to voice notes they exchanged. She
misses hearing his voice update her on his latest endeavors or simply chatting
with him through a call.
As the first child and only daughter, Chidera
considers it an honor to reflect the values and love her father instilled
in her. “You may be gone physically , but your blood runs through my
veins,” she said, expressing her determination to carry on his legacy with
pride and resilience.
Her tribute reminds us of the profound impact of a
loving parent and the lasting bonds they create with their children.
