Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has expressed his
dissatisfaction with the disturbing and precarious state of the nation.
Mohammed
said the policies and reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu-led Federal
Government are inflicting untold hardship and unprecedented suffering on
Nigerians.
The
governor voiced his concerns at the launch of the Nigeria Development Update in
Abuja on Thursday.
He
implored the Tinubu government to review its current monetary and fiscal
policies, stating that they are not working effectively.
Mohammed
admonished the government not to be dogmatic and rigid in its approach, noting
that it was time to change course due to the growing hardship in the country.
He
underscored the plight of ordinary Nigerians, warning that hunger and economic
hardship have created a tense and erratic situation as politicians and public
officeholders like him are facing the threat of being lynched by hunger and
frustrated citizens.
