The 2025 Nigerian Economic Summit kicked off in Abuja with top government officials, industry leaders, and traditional rulers in attendance.

Among the dignitaries present are the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, and the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu. Also in attendance are captains of industry, members of the National Assembly, and the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

This year’s summit, themed “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030,” comes at a pivotal moment in Nigeria’s development journey, as the government pursues wide-ranging economic reforms aimed at restoring stability and driving inclusive growth.

Organisers say the summit seeks to forge a national consensus on key reforms, balance economic stability with social inclusion, and promote dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders to accelerate Nigeria’s transformation and secure a prosperous future for all citizens.
