The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu,
ABSU, Prof. Godwin Emezue has been abducted by unidentified gunmen, ABN TV
reports.
Prof. Emezue was abducted in a filling station
around Umuekwule, Amachara in Umuahia South LGA where he has gone to refill his
tank, along with his wife.
Sources told ABN TV that no fewer than three men
had accosted him at the fuel station, dragging him into an already waiting
Lexus SUV and collected his wife’s ATM card.
