Ezenwoke Nwosu, popularly known as Cassi, has been
evicted from the Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show after four weeks in
the house.
The 27-year-old was evicted during Sunday’s live show
hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, bringing the number of housemates who have left
the competition through eviction to four.
Cassi’s exit follows the earlier evictions of Martins,
Mercedes and Kamsy. Former Head of House Neche also voluntarily left the show
on August 16 due to what organisers described as pressing personal matters.
Eight housemates were nominated for possible eviction
this week: Cassi, Araga, Gerard, Goddessa, Nomy, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf.
Nomy received the highest percentage of votes among
the nominated housemates with 10.84 per cent, followed by Goddessa with 6.76
per cent. Cassi secured 5.27 per cent, which was not enough to keep him in the
competition.
Despite his eviction, Cassi enjoyed several memorable
moments during his four-week stay. He won the Week Four Arena Games and also
delivered strong performances in a number of brand tasks.
Cassi entered the competition as the 24th and final
housemate. He was introduced as an entrepreneur, actor, realtor, model and
forex trader, with additional interests in drawing, painting and chiropractic
therapy.
Although he maintained a relatively quiet profile
compared with some of the more outspoken contestants, Cassi remained involved
in house tasks, strategic discussions and relationships.
Abi Named Most Influential Player
Cassi’s eviction was not the only major highlight of
Sunday’s live show, as Abi was crowned the Most Influential Player for Week
Four.
Abi earned the recognition after winning the Head of
House challenge, defeating Chimsom Chuka in the final round of the competition.
The decisive task, titled “Copy and Paste”, tested the
housemates’ memory as they were required to arrange a sequence of images in
their correct positions.
Chimsom finished as runner-up but received immunity
from the week’s eviction nominations.
Abi’s leadership took an unexpected turn when Biggie
instructed her to select three members of her own winning team for possible
eviction.
After discussions during Conspiracy Hour, Bells and
Bluethopia were initially protected, while Abi selected Aikou, Araga and Yusuf
for the nomination list.
Her recognition as the Most Influential Player marked
another milestone in the season, making her the first female housemate to win
the title. Chimsom Chuka had previously received the honour, while Sultex was
named the winner in the previous week.
New Twists Reshape Competition
Week Four introduced further changes to the show’s
nomination format, with Abi’s winning team unexpectedly becoming involved in
the eviction process.
The week also featured growing tensions among
housemates, including disagreements involving Oyin and Chimsom Chuka, while
other storylines centred around Temi Nkem, Keivo and Tram.
Romantic relationships also continued to develop, with
Yusuf showing interest in Bells and Ricky attempting to get closer to Goddessa.
The housemates were also penalised for repeated rule
violations, resulting in a ?5 million deduction from the season’s grand prize.
With Cassi now out of the competition and Neche having
voluntarily departed, the number of contestants continues to fall as the “Show
Ya Sef” season moves into its fifth week.
The season began on July 26 with 24 housemates
competing for a record ?160 million grand prize. As the competition
intensifies, shifting alliances, strategic moves, new twists and further
evictions are expected to shape the race for the ultimate prize.
