Comedian and actor Onyebuchi
Ojieh, popularly known as Buchi, has reunited with his daughter in a
video shared on Instagram.
According to Buchi, his daughter traveled from the
United States to Canada to meet him.
In a heartfelt video posted on his social media
platform, Buchi expressed his deep gratitude and joy at being reunited with his
child. “Grateful every day. Truly blessed. My baby came all the way from the US
by herself to see me in Canada,” he wrote.
The reunion follows a highly publicised custody battle
between Buchi and his ex-wife, Rukky.
In November 2023, Buchi expressed frustration on
Instagram, alleging his ex-wife and her parents denied him access to his
children, demanding money before allowing visits with accusation that
they “abducted” his kids.
Buchi and Rukky married in 2017 and have two children
together.
Reports of marital issues emerged in 2022, with
speculation about challenges, including alleged violence.
