Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 15 suspected
internet fraudsters in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
They were arrested in Amax Apartment,
Guzape, following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent
internet activities
Items recovered from them
include a Toyota Highlander with customized registration number
(BORNO AAA) and phones.
They have made useful statements and would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
