Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday May 14, 2025
arrested 28 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Benin City.
The suspects were arrested following credible intelligence that
linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Items recovered from them include five exotic cars, smartphones and laptop
computers.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
