Former Super Eagles star, Sam Sodje has congratulated
the Ibrahim Gusau-led Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over the groundbreaking
ceremony of NFF-FIFA Players Hostel and Training Pitches held in Abuja on
Tuesday.
Sodje in a press release said, '"On behalf of the
Delta State football family, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the
President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, and the
esteemed NFF Board members on the groundbreaking ceremony of the NFF/FIFA
Players' Hostel and Training Pitches held yesterday at the NFF Secretariat,
Abuja.
"This landmark project marks a significant
milestone in the development of Nigerian football infrastructure. The vision
and commitment demonstrated in bringing this initiative to life will
undoubtedly contribute to the growth of the game and provide the necessary
support for our players to thrive.
"We also commend the Speaker of the Federal House
of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, alongside other top government
functionaries and ex-national team players, for their support in making this
project a reality.
"I wish you continued success in your efforts to
elevate Nigerian football to greater heights." He concluded.
