Social media personality Ojaigho Prosper has expressed concerns over the decision of TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat to proceed with marriage plans involving his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, despite acknowledging the content creator's financial success.

The reaction followed Peller’s announcement on Sunday that he had completed traditional marriage rites by paying Jarvis’ bride price during a family introduction ceremony.

Sharing highlights from the event on Instagram, Peller celebrated the milestone, writing: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love.”

Responding through his X account, GehGeh argued that financial stability alone should not be the determining factor in deciding whether someone is ready for marriage.

According to him, prospective couples should also consider their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual preparedness before making such a lifelong commitment.

“People are justifying his action because he has money, but the real question is whether he is mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually ready for marriage,” GehGeh stated.

He further emphasized that marriage requires more than financial capability, stressing that personal maturity and readiness are equally important.

GehGeh revealed that he had previously advised Peller against rushing into marriage, expressing disappointment that the young content creator chose to proceed despite his counsel.

“You are still growing and developing. Why get married now? I tried my best to advise you, but you chose not to listen,” he remarked.

He also challenged supporters of the union to consider whether they would encourage a younger sibling or family member of a similar age to get married under the same circumstances.

The comments have sparked debate across social media, with some users agreeing that age and maturity should be key considerations, while others defended Peller’s decision, arguing that he is financially independent and capable of building a family.

The traditional introduction ceremony comes weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, where she accepted his proposal.

The development has continued to generate reactions online as fans and critics weigh in on the couple’s decision to take the next step in their relationship.
