The
daughter of Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, Dr. Stephanie Ebidenere
Diri, has married her spouse, Ballad Tamaradoubra Agbeyei, in a colourful
ceremony held in Yenagoa, the state capital.
The couple
exchanged vows on Sunday at the headquarters of the Royal House of Grace

The

Unto One Another in Love.”
In his
message, the cleric urged the newlyweds to build their marriage on love, mutual
submission and the fear of God. He reminded them that God must remain at the
centre of their union and encouraged them to seek divine direction whenever
they encounter disagreements or communication challenges.
Apostle
Zilly-Aggrey also commended Governor Diri for choosing to have his daughter’s
wedding ceremony in church, describing the decision as an honour.
The
bride’s parents, Governor Douye Diri and his wife, Dr. Gloria Diri, prayed for
God’s blessings, joy and lasting happiness for the couple.
At the
reception, which was chaired by Abia State Governor Alex Otti, the governor
congratulated Stephanie and Ballad and advised them to develop effective ways
of resolving disagreements without involving third parties.
Otti
acknowledged that challenges and disagreements were inevitable in marriage but
urged the couple to communicate effectively, manage their differences and
remain committed to building a successful family.
He also
prayed for God to bless their union and provide them with the resources needed
to care for their family.
Other
dignitaries at the ceremony included Bayelsa State First Lady, Justice Patience
Ama-Diri; Deputy Governor Peter Akpe and his wife, Dr. Favour Akpe; Deputy
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Akon Eyakenyi; former Military
