A new video released by the terrorists responsible for the abduction of school teachers and dozens of pupils in Oyo State has revealed the difficult conditions being endured by the captives, sparking renewed concerns about their safety.

The victims, who were reportedly kidnapped in Orire Local Government Area, were seen in the footage appearing exhausted and distressed as they appealed for urgent intervention from the authorities.

In the video, a school principal identified as Mrs. Alamu made an emotional plea to President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and Nigerians to help secure their freedom.

Speaking on behalf of the hostages, Mrs. Alamu urged the government to prioritize negotiations aimed at securing their release, warning that the abductors were becoming increasingly impatient.

According to her, both the children and adults in captivity are being exposed to harsh weather conditions, including intense sun, rain, and cold, while their situation continues to worsen.

She appealed for swift action to prevent any loss of life, stressing that the captives had not been forgotten and were desperately hoping for rescue.

The video also showed one of the abducted teachers, who was reportedly taken alongside her baby, joining the appeal and calling on the government to ensure the safe return of all the victims.

The latest footage has heightened public concern over the welfare of the abductees and renewed calls for urgent efforts to secure their release.

Authorities are yet to provide an official update on ongoing rescue efforts, while families and concerned citizens continue to pray for the safe return of the victims.
