Stanley Eguma, the technical adviser of Enyimba
International, has attributed the club's poor form to fatigue.
Enyimba, known as the People’s Elephant, has struggled
with inconsistent performances since the start of the season. The former Rivers
United coach explained that fixture congestion has played a significant role in
their current situation.
“As I’ve mentioned before, we’re dealing with fatigue
in the team due to the tight schedule this month,” Eguma said. “Since January,
we’ve been playing two matches every week. We just returned from Ilorin two
days ago, played today (January 30, 2025), and tomorrow we travel to Bauchi to
face Lobi Stars.”
“The players have been on the road constantly,
and the wear and tear are evident. We’ll continue working hard to overcome the
stress and fatigue affecting the team", he added.
