Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has said
that former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, cannot be trusted and
poses no threat to his political future.
Speaking during an interview on The Morning Show
on Arise News, Oborevwori said he was not surprised by Omo-Agege's decision to
leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Nigeria Democratic Congress
(NDC).
According to the governor, Omo-Agege should have
accepted the outcome of what he described as a free and fair primary election
rather than leaving the party.
Oborevwori expressed confidence in his political
strength, stating that he had previously defeated Omo-Agege and was not
concerned about any future challenge from him.
"He's not a threat, I've won him before,"
the governor said.
