“Nine months ago, we did an open nomination across
African countries for people to nominate those supporting peace and development
and your Executive Chairman’s name came up and he made it to the final stage to
be among the 100 persons due to his outstanding performance in Nigeria and in
Africa. This award is to encourage him to do more. This means that
the Chairman and his team are doing well to make Nigeria proud and we are
encouraging him to do more. Because we have not seen or heard of any chairman
of EFCC that has done what this chairman is doing,” he said.
Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE II Aisha
