What Atiku Proposed At The PDP Meeting Was That The Presidency Should Be Zoned To South East – Eze

According to the report from the Daily Post, in a bold statement challenging prevailing political narratives, All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has come forward to clarify the details surrounding the PDP’s presidential ticket zoning discussions.

Eze directly refuted claims that Atiku Abubakar opposed zoning the presidential ticket to the South, instead asserting that Atiku had specifically proposed allocating the ticket to the South-East region. The political leader did not mince words in his critique of those spreading alternative interpretations.

“It is sad and unfortunate that some people who are saying that Wike was right on PDP zoning have refused to know the truth because they are heavily benefitting from the former Rivers State Governor’s financial inducements,” Eze declared.

He further elaborated on Atiku’s proposed stance, stating, “It is instructive to state categorically that Atiku Abubakar didn’t kick against zoning the PDP Presidential ticket to the South. What the former Vice President (Atiku) proposed at the PDP meeting was that if the party’s presidency should be zoned to the South, it must be to the South-East.”
