The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development,
Festus Keyamo, has expressed condolences to the Delta State Government and the
family of Sunny Kotor following his sudden passing.
Mr. Kotor, who served as Senior Special Assistant on
Protocol to the Delta State Government, reportedly died on Friday, March 20,
2026, after slumping.
Widely known for his presence at official events
across the state, he was often entrusted with the role of Master of Ceremonies,
where he earned respect for his calm demeanor and professionalism.
In his tribute, Keyamo described the late protocol
officer as a committed public servant whose contributions significantly
enhanced the quality and organization of government functions.
“He carried out his duties with decorum and
professionalism, adding value to every official engagement,” the minister
noted.
Keyamo added that Kotor’s death is a great loss not
only to Delta State but also to all who had the privilege of working with him.
He extended prayers to the bereaved family, loved
ones, and the state government, asking for strength and comfort during this
difficult period.
The late Kotor is remembered as a dependable and
composed figure whose service left a lasting impression on public events in
Delta State.
