Step 1: Prepare Required Documents

For Fresh (Standard) Passport Application:

  • Birth certificate or age declaration
  • Local government certificate of origin
  • National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Passport photographs (recent, white background)
  • Completed application form (online)
  • Guarantor’s form (with photocopy of data page of Nigerian passport, attached passport photo, and national ID of guarantor)

For Renewal:

Step 2: Visit the Official NIS Portal
