Nigeria will be targeting maximum points and a return
to the top of Group C when they face Tunisia in their next group-stage match at
the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Following the identification of defensive lapses in
their opening fixture, head coach Eric Chelle is expected to make tactical
adjustments as he looks to deliver a more compact and balanced performance
against a well-organised Tunisian side.
The Super Eagles are likely to line up in a 4-3-2-1
formation, a setup aimed at strengthening defensive stability while still
offering flexibility going forward.
Nigeria must secure victory in Saturday’s encounter to
reclaim top spot in Group C. Tunisia currently lead the standings on goal
difference after a 3–1 win over Uganda, while Nigeria opened their campaign
with a 2–1 victory against Tanzania.
