Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has reacted to the recent attack in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, suggesting that the incident may have been timed to embarrass President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The attack, which occurred on Palm Sunday, March 29—the same day the president marked his 74th birthday—resulted in multiple casualties and heightened security concerns in the area.

In a post shared on Instagram, Cubana Chiefpriest questioned the circumstances surrounding the attack, describing it as unfortunate and raising concerns about security lapses.

He also criticised the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for visiting the scene in an armoured vehicle, suggesting that the situation reflected poorly on the state’s security response.

The socialite further expressed disappointment that such an incident could occur on a significant day, calling for greater vigilance and improved security measures to prevent future attacks.

The incident has continued to generate reactions from various quarters, with renewed calls for stronger security efforts across affected regions.
