Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has called for the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the abduction of 32 pupils in Niger State on Thursday, November 21.

The students were kidnapped from St. Mary’s Private (Catholic) Secondary School, Papiri in Agwara LGA, during a bandit attack that occurred around 2 a.m.

Reacting to the news on X (formerly Twitter), Falz condemned the incident and said the latest abduction was further proof that President Tinubu’s administration had failed in its responsibility to protect Nigerians.
He insisted that the President should step down if he cannot guarantee the safety of citizens.

His post has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing frustration over the persistent insecurity and recurring school kidnappings across the country.

Security agencies, including police tactical units and military operatives, have since been deployed to comb the forests in search of the abducted students.
