FBI Miami has released images of vehicles and
individuals believed to be connected to the shooting of Offset outside a casino
in Miami.
The incident occurred on April 6 at around 7:24 p.m.,
when a large group reportedly confronted the rapper in what authorities
described as an attempted robbery. During the altercation, one of the suspects
allegedly produced a firearm and fired a shot, hitting Offset in the leg.
Following the shooting, the attackers reportedly
attempted to take the rapper’s watch but were unsuccessful before fleeing the
scene.
Offset was taken to the hospital and treated for his
injuries but made a quick recovery, returning to perform at a music festival
shortly afterward.
Investigators revealed that the suspects escaped in
two vehicles—a matte gray Chevrolet Tahoe and a black Chevrolet Suburban.
Authorities believe the Suburban headed toward Hollywood, while the Tahoe moved
southbound toward Miami.
The FBI is urging members of the public to assist with
any information that could help identify and locate those involved, as
investigations into the incident continue.
