Iran has issued a warning urging residents and workers near major port facilities in the United Arab Emirates to leave the areas immediately, citing potential security threats.

According to reports from Tasnim News Agency, individuals living or working close to key ports — including Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, and Port of Fujairah in Fujairah — have been advised to evacuate surrounding areas immediately.

The agency claimed that these locations could become potential targets due to the alleged presence of United States military forces operating within or close to civilian infrastructure.

According to the report, such areas may be considered legitimate military targets because of the alleged concealment of U.S. military assets among civilian facilities.

The warning comes amid growing tensions between Iran and Israel following a series of military confrontations that have raised fears of a broader regional conflict.

The situation escalated after Israel launched strikes on Iranian sites linked to its military and nuclear infrastructure, prompting Tehran to vow retaliation against Israeli interests and its allies across the region.

The United States — a key security partner of the United Arab Emirates — maintains military assets across several Gulf states as part of its long-standing security presence in the region.

Iranian officials have repeatedly accused Washington of backing Israeli military operations and have warned that any facilities hosting U.S. forces could become targets if the confrontation intensifies.

However, authorities in the UAE have not confirmed any evacuation order related to Iran’s warning, and there has been no official response from Emirati officials regarding the claim.

The development has nonetheless heightened concerns about the safety of critical shipping and energy infrastructure in the Gulf region, particularly around some of the world’s busiest commercial ports.
