Former Bendel Insurance head coach Monday Odigie is on
the verge of joining Nigeria National League (NNL) club Godswill Akpabio United
as Technical Director ahead of the new season.
The experienced football manager is expected to
oversee the club's technical operations and collaborate closely with newly
appointed head coach Edward Green in shaping the team's preparations for the
upcoming campaign.
Sources close to the club indicate that Odigie is
expected to arrive in Uyo later this week to complete the remaining formalities
before officially taking up his new position.
His anticipated appointment is viewed as an important
addition to the club's technical setup as Godswill Akpabio United seeks to
strengthen its structure and improve its competitiveness in the Nigeria
National League.
