Gunmen have abducted Mallam Suleiman Yusuf, Chairman
of the Mining Association, Udege-Mbeki, and Madakin Hausawa of Udege Chiefdom,
in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
The incident occurred on Monday, March 16, 2026,
around 7:10 p.m., while Mallam Yusuf was observing Iftar at his residence. The
attackers stormed his home and forcibly took him, along with his Mill Manager,
Joseph Uguedo, to an unknown location.
A family member, Yahaya Abdulrahman, confirmed the
abduction and appealed to the public, friends, and well-wishers to keep the
victims in their prayers.
