Benjamin Netanyahu has released a short video on X
mocking online rumors claiming he had died, as tensions remain high in the
region amid Israel’s ongoing military operations against Iran and its allies.
In the video, Netanyahu was seen enjoying a cup of
coffee at a café outside Jerusalem while joking about the false reports.
“I’m dead for coffee,” he said sarcastically, using a
common Hebrew expression meaning he loves something intensely.
He also addressed speculation that a recent televised
address of his had been artificially generated, after viewers claimed he
appeared to have six fingers on one hand. Raising his hands toward the camera,
Netanyahu quipped: “Do you want to count the number of fingers?”
Beyond the humour, he urged citizens to continue
following safety instructions during rocket alerts.
“You give strength to me, to the government, to the
army, to the Mossad,” he said, referring to Israel’s intelligence agency.
Netanyahu also revealed that Israel is conducting
operations that cannot yet be publicly disclosed.
“We are doing things that I cannot share at this
moment, but we are striking Iran very hard, and also Lebanon,” he said.
His comments come as Israel, the United States, and
Iran continue to escalate military confrontations across the region, with
missile exchanges and operations raising fears of a wider Middle East conflict.
Meanwhile, Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps, issued a fresh threat against Netanyahu. According
to Iran’s state news agency, Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC vowed to
pursue and kill him, referring to him as a “child-killer,” if he is still
alive.
