The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has
approved the promotion of 523 staff members across various cadres as part of
its 2025 promotion exercise.
Kayode Adegoke (PhD), Head of Corporate
Communications, stated that the promotions were approved by NIMC
Director-General/CEO, Engr. (Dr.) Abisoye Coker-Odusote, in line with President
Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Public Service Rules.
Among the promoted officers, two were elevated to
Director (GL 17), eight to Deputy Director (GL 16), and 35 to Assistant
Director (GL 15). Other promotions included:
Congratulating the staff, Adegoke said the DG/CEO
urged them to view the promotions as a chance to better serve the nation while
maintaining the Commission’s zero tolerance for extortion.
He further noted that the DG/CEO encouraged all staff
to intensify efforts in 2026 to ensure the successful implementation of the
National Identification Number (NIN) project, while reaffirming her commitment
to staff welfare and the dignity of labour.
