Amid ongoing concerns over inconsistent electricity supply across Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured citizens that significant improvements are on the way.

The president gave this assurance while addressing members at the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Abuja on Friday, March 27.

Acknowledging widespread complaints about power shortages, Tinubu stated that his administration is actively working to resolve the challenges and enhance electricity delivery nationwide.

He revealed plans to inject about 1,500 megawatts into a new transmission corridor through the Grid Asset Management Company, describing it as part of broader efforts to strengthen the national grid and support industrial growth.

Tinubu also emphasized that ongoing government initiatives are already producing measurable results, countering criticisms from opposition voices. According to him, the country is transitioning from a phase of survival to one of stability and progress.

He expressed confidence that improved power supply will not only ease daily living conditions but also create opportunities for economic development and industrialisation.
